Last night on The Bachelor we saw the departure of the loveable Kiki Morris. A woman brave enough to take on Kiera (and win), who absolutely killed it at every cocktail party and just an all round kind soul. During the rose ceremony as each girl patiently waited for Richie’s verdict, it was hard to miss an obvious and consistent factor amongst nearly all of the contestants; the blonde factor. Now we’re down to the final six and things are getting tighter (and blonder).
In last night’s challenge the contestants were asked to complete an obstacle course involving mud, climbing walls and good old fashioned teamwork. The girls remained composed throughout the challenge, saving the whining and moaning for their private interviews.
Nikki, the current fave, won the single date, which followed with her admitting that she’s starting to fall in love with Richie. Ukrainian beauty Olena challenged Richie to a sloppy, mud race scoring herself not only a messy victory but alone time with Richie and Alex used any opportunity at her fingertips to make sure Richie new she was still there, stirring up tension with Rachael.
But with Rachael being the final brunette standing, Alex and her handsy tendencies are the least of her worries. It’s clear that Richie has a type and with the season nearing its end, this isn’t the final obstacle course she’ll be competing in to win Richie’s heart. There’s no doubt that she said it best during her private interview exclaiming “they’re all blonde”. Here’s hoping she’ll prove Australia wrong and make it to next week!
