The nominees for the MTV Video Music Awards are out and we, for one, are ready for some shade to be thrown. Kanye West and Taylor Swift’s feud began at the 2009 VMA’s and last year Nicki Minaj clapped back at Miley Cyrus by yelling “what’s good?” and gifting us with this great reaction gif:
Queen Bey has claimed her rightful throne at the top of the pile with 11 nominations thanks to her visual album ‘Lemonade’. Adele followed close behind with 8 noms for her single ‘Hello’.
Australia got a bit of a look in as well with Troye Sivan up for Breakthrough Long Form Video for his album ‘Blue Neighbourhood Trilogy’ and Tame Impala are up for Best Direction for the video for ‘The Less I Know The Better’.
Kanye West’s controversial video ‘Famous’ is up for Video of the Year which means that the kindling has been set for Drama, Drama, Drama!
