Harry Potter is a series that defined a generation. Usually a claim like that would be bold, but that’s not the case with that one. Harry Potter was released when most millennials were learning how to read, so it’s only natural that they dove head first into the magical world.
Now, with the final movie released in 2011, it’s obvious to think that the cast wouldn’t stay in touch. Why would they? It’s not like they grew up together. Oh wait. They did.
As a fan, you’ll be dying to know that the group of beloved child actors and would-be magicians have a delightful group chat. Emma Watson dropped this news bomb on us while promoting her new film Beauty and the Beast, like it was NO BIG DEAL.
Using Whatsapp, Watson sent out the first message to invite everyone to her film premiere and because they’re total sweethearts, Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis showed. In a candid and super sweet interview, which you can see below, Watson mentions that she’s “only got Bonnie and Dan left”.
Naturally, she’s talking about Ginny Weasley and Harry Potter, who are obviously living out their lives and having a secret relationship. That must be the only reason as to why they haven’t accepted her request. Why else would you leave Emma Watson hanging?!
No word on Rupert Grint either. It’s probably because Ed Sheeran has recently released a new album and they’re the same person. We are shook (in the best way) that the cast of such a seminal series are still close buds.
