Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson are no longer.
The 25 year old singer and the 24 year old SNL star have broken up following a whirlwind romance that began in May 2018. The couple were seen publicly smitten, but surprised fans when they announced their engagement in June.
News of the split comes a month after her ex, Mac Miller, was found dead at age 26. The singer mourned the rapper’s death publicly on Twitter and has since stepped away from the spotlight.
Ariana has concerned fans after tweeting a thread of tweets which show that she isn’t coping well. We can’t confirm what she is referring to exactly, but she sparked enough interest that she quickly deleted the thread.
Regarding her break up, a Grande source told People that “it was way too much too soon, it’s not shocking to anyone.”
TMZ who first reported the news, said the two broke up this weekend and acknowledged that it was not the right time for their relationship to take off.
Grande and Davidson have not commented on the breakup.
