The VMA’s are known not only for killer music videos but for the Iconic fashion moments. Over the years we have seen the best and the worst looks from artists alike. This year 2020 did not disappoint. This year we saw a neon revival, and some 90’s chic.
Here are our favourite looks, as we count down the top 5 menswear and top 5 womenswear.
Top 5 Womenswear:
5. Madison Beer
Madison shows you can never go wrong with a little black dress. Wearing Mugler and Stuart Weitzman shoes.
4. Miley Cyrus
Miley brings the sparkle to the 2020 VMA’s wearing this sparkly see through Mugler dress.
3. Ariana Grande
Also wearing Mugler, Ariana rocked a subtle turtleneck minidress with long sleeves. Continuing the shake it up she strayed from her signature single Ponytail for luxe pigtails.
2. Keke Palmer
Making history as the first black VMAs host In 33-Years, with a powerful message. Keke does it in a history defining dress. Wearing Ralph and Russo 2020 couture.
1.Lady Gaga
Gaga gave us Galactic realness. Wearing Area and an impressive face shield, Not only did she clean up the awards she looked good doing it serving look after look.

5 . CNCO – Christopher Velez, Zabdiel De Jesus, Richard Camacho, Joel Pimentel and Erick Brian Colon
The CNCO boy’s bringing a casual look to the VMA’s, its all about comfort for the CNCO boys.
4. BTS – RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook
BTS made history Performing for the first time at the VMA’s, instead of wearing their usually coordinated looks. The BTS boys chose comfort and colour for their virtual Red carpet, showing us they look good in anything.
3. Machine Gun Kelly
Machine Gun Kelly wears Berluti, this all pink look incorporated a turtleneck tank and dress pants and blazer with pearl necklace. This was a showstopper.
2. Maluma
Maluma wears Versace, he is known for his killer fashion and he didn’t disappoint. This All black and gold trim Versace suit with gold jewellery is true Maluma style.
1. Jaden Smith
Jaden, where do I begin. Can we just talk about that killer neon psychedelic knitted blazer. I can not stress enough how much I want it and I’m not the only one. Smith’s color-blocked jacket, blue jeans, pearl necklace by Polite Worldwide and chunky sneakers, shows that simple is best.
This year’s VMA’s set the bar high. I can’t wait to see what next year will hold.
