Men in Black is planning to bring a “woman in black” in their fourth film. MIB producer, Laurie MacDonald has said in an interview that the next instalment will feature a female lead character. MacDonald and her husband Walter Parkes have confirmed they will be coming back to produce the next movie and reboot the franchise.
At the end of the first Men in Black, medical coroner Laurel Weaver was shown wearing a black suit after becoming Agent J’s new partner. However the female character was not to be found in the sequel.
Will Smith has been rumoured to have said he was done with the franchise and would not be returning The move is still in it’s very early stages and Parkes has said “Never count Will out.”
