Alright guys, this is not a drill. You now have a date to secure your countdowns for season four of Sherlock. BBC has recently confirmed the season’s premiere date for January 1st, 2017.
For those who have been keeping count, it has been an unbearable three years since delightful duo Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman last graced our screens, with the exception of the generous Christmas special, The Abominable Bride.
Fans were also given the title of the first episode set to air. Titled, ‘The Six Thatchers’, the episode set to air simultaneously for both American and British viewers before making its way around the world.
