Did you know royalty was once off the cards for Prince Harry?
The 32-year-old revealed in an interview that he “wanted out” of the royal family and life. Prince Harry even mentioned that he had thought about living “an ordinary life” just like the rest of the world.
Who wouldn’t want to be royalty? This Prince once thought otherwise.
He mentioned that “there was a time I felt I wanted out”, but thankfully he revised his position. Harry went on to say: “But then I decided to stay…and work out a role for myself”.
“I am determined to have a relatively normal life and if I am lucky enough to have children they can have one too,” the red-headed royal said. “We don’t want to be just a bunch of celebrities, but instead use our role for good”.
Talk about hubby goals right there!
In another interview with Newsweek, he told the writer Angela Levin that royalty is not about being king or queen but is instead about “carrying out our duties at the right time”.
Quite a dashing statement if I do say so myself.
Prince Harry, alongside his Suits star girlfriend Meghan Markle, has been dedicating a lot of his time to charity work. We can’t deny that the two make a hot couple.
Of course, despite the work he has done for charity and the military with his brother Prince William, we cannot ignore the Prince’s controversial past.
I am sure we are all remember that back in 2012 when Prince Harry was photographed butt-naked by the press in Las Vegas in a hotel room. I am sure the Queen was not happy about that one.
“I spent many years kicking my heels and I didn’t want to grow up,” Harry said as he admitted that he has had a scandalous past.
However the former rascal has reformed his behaviour. Let’s hope Prince Harry sticks around with the royal family as long as he possibly can.
