This is NOT a drill, Kim Kardashian has a new GQ article, and we feel like we know her better than ever. Especially since we’ve seen her boobs (again, but still). She bares all in this article, letting the interviewer even more into her private life than we see through her multiple forms of media, the TV show, her app, her Instagram, Snapchat… shit, she really is the social media matriarch.
There’s so much happening in this article, I don’t even know where to start. From the opening lines of the interviewer describing how Kim’s boobs feel (softer than a baby bunny’s tummy, apparently), to the lowdown on the Swifty-Yeezy feud.
It’s true, and noted, that Kim’s whole shtick is her willingness to open up about every single detail of her highly unusual life, but there’s something about the candidness, unedited nature of this article that feels a bit like you’re getting to know something else, something more about Kim.
Kim talks openly about her experience with her stepdad’s transition, and how when she was much younger she walked in on Caitlyn in female clothes. It’s well known that Kim was the first to see this, and went straight to Kourtney as she didn’t know what it meant, so this isn’t really big news.

Apparently, at this point, North walked in wearing a cowboy outfit over purple pyjama pants, which of course she did, a style icon even at 3 years old.
It’s now that things get into the beef which seems to come with interacting with the Kardashian-Jenner-Wests. First, Kim blatantly outs Taylor Swift. Apparently, Kim was there during the phone call where Swifty told Kanye his controversial ‘Famous’ lyrics were great, and she was behind him 100%. When the song actually debuted, the songstress was decidedly against it, saying it was misogynistic and she would never approve something like that. Kim claims that there’s actual video footage proving that T-Swizzle was behind it, but that they had been sent a legal injunction from Swift’s team to make sure it never got out. Scandalous.
Kim has nothing but fond words about her old friend, then nemesis, now friend again Blac Chyna and her relationship with Kim’s lil bro, Rob. It’s nice to see that’s she’s willing to support her brother in whatever makes him happy, despite the rocky beginning with Kim’s clear disapproval (remember that video when Kim tried to convince Kris to cut Rob off? Yeah, Kris roasted her.)
Kim strays into dangerous territory when she talks about the contents of O.J. Simpsons bag which was in her father’s possession, rumoured to hold the murder weapon. Kim claims that her father did go through it, but the contents were pretty mundane – toiletries, golf stuff, and that she thinks it’s still sitting in storage with the rest of her father’s stuff.
It’s a pretty exciting article, and is giving us tonnes of new info about Kim, who is probably trying to reclaim her status as the most successful social media star of the family from her little sis Kylie.
