John Legend holds a special place in all of our hearts, mainly because of his song ‘All of Me’, a favourite for sing-alongs all over the world. If you haven’t done at least one rendition of the tune when your mate’s on the piano, then you haven’t quite lived yet.
However, a lucky group of people at St Pancras train station in London have had the pleasure of belting it out for all to hear – with the man himself at the keys.
Arriving in London to promote the UK leg of his US and European tour (which takes place in September), John inquired on Twitter before he arrived at St Pancras if the street pianos there were still about, which in itself should have indicated something was about to go down.
Arriving at London @StPancrasInt on @EurostarUK. Do they still have that piano there?

What happened next was pretty amazing, as he took the seat to smash out an eight-minute performance for a crowd of stunned commuters.
He went through a couple of his staples, and also broke out his new track ‘SureFire’ just to remind people about the tour he’s got coming.
Sneaky.
Luckily, for those that weren’t there, Live Nation UK (who is in charge of promoting the tour) livestreamed the whole thing on Facebook.
Enjoy.

Of course, as soon as the gig got noticed, the internet went into a jealous meltdown.
Not gonna lie, so jealous of everyone watching @johnlegend play the piano right now in St. Pancras station!

But it appears one person didn’t get the uplifting message, as John’s wife (and arguably his biggest troll) Chrissy Teigen let him know where she stands.
@johnlegend someone needs attention

If that’s not couple goals, I don’t know what is.
While there are no plans for John to swing through Australia as yet, stay tuned – you don’t want to miss something like this if it graces our shores.
Legend by name, legend by nature?
