Gorillaz have just released four new tracks of off their upcoming album, and yes, they are as awesome as their positive names suggest.
The new tracks are called ‘Ascension‘, ‘We Got The Power‘, ‘Andromeda‘ and ‘Saturnz Barz’. They were released as part of a short film Saturnz Barz (Spirit House) which is a really epic and weird 360 degrees enabled video.
The tracks are off their upcoming album, Humanz, which is due for release on April 28th.
The album will be available in both a regular version and a special version, which comes with six more tracks.
A super deluxe vinyl box set will also be released, which comes with a 54 page art book by Jamie Hewlett.
Artists that feature on the tracks include Grace Jones, Mavis Staples, Pusha T, Danny Brown, De La Soul, Popcaan and D.R.A.M..
If your Gorillaz craving is still not satisfied, then you’re in luck. They have an upcoming tour, which will start with a show at Dreamland in the UK at the Demon Dayz Festival.
The Festival,which was created by the band, will be on June 10th, so you have plenty of time to get some tickets and make travel plans. Listen to the groovy awesome tracks to get yourself in the mood for a fun festival and the upcoming album!
