Brace your ears! Gorillaz are back after a very long 7 year hiatus. Fans of the duo couldn’t be more stoked with the news that, not only are they back, they’ve come back in the biggest way possible. It’s not every day that a band comes back with a festival within a theme park!
The duo are headlining Demon Dayz, which you probably haven’t heard of, because it’s their very own festival. The festival is in Margate, England, within the Dreamland amusement park. The one day bash will feature access to all of the rides, which will be included in the ticket price.
As of now, the Gorillaz are the only band featured on the bill. However, the event sponsor Red Bull has promised “an eclectic bill…running across three stages, with Gorillaz featuring in the headline slot”.
Red Bull will be streaming the whole event live through Red Bull TV, so for those of you unable to get to England on such short notice, you won’t be missing out.
