Let’s not beat around the bush here – The Fresh Prince of Bel Air has given us so many things to get excited about. Not only is the show itself still an eternal beacon of joy in all our lives, but all of the cast reunions and nostalgia flowing since the show’s finale have kept the smiles on our faces.
One of the biggest running jokes out of Fresh Prince (sadly not talking about the Carlton dance) was Will and his partner-in-crime, Jazz. Not only were they a great comedic pairing, but they also coined one of the best handshakes in the business.
Jazz was played by DJ Jazzy Jeff, who was Will Smith’s IRL musical partner when Will was lighting up our lives with hits like ‘Wild Wild West’.
And Will may have just won the nostalgia game though, by announcing a reunion with Jazzy for the first time in 12 years.
Hopefully this one won’t end with Jazz getting thrown from the building by Uncle Phil.
Their act, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince, announced its return via video on Will’s Facebook page, sending the cue for all Prince fans to go into total delirium.
First two shows are locked!! Y’all ready?!

Before you get too excited – it’s not coming to Australia. It’s only at two music festivals in Europe in August – MTV Presents Summerblast Festival in Croatia and Livewire Festival in the UK.
I know. I’m sorry.
But, on the plus side, they stated in the caption to the announcement video that it was the “first two shows locked”.
Now, I may not be an expert, but that leads me to think that won’t be the last of their reunion. So don’t give up hope!
And since I can’t leave you hanging after mentioning it earlier, here’s six and a half minutes of the Carlton dance. You’re welcome.
