Although galaxies apart – The Rap and Sci-Fi genres have been united in a masterful rework of Notorious B.I.G’s 1997 Life After Death. The Otaku Gang (Richie Branson and Solar Slim) recently released a mixtape that fuses Biggie’s renowned rhymes with a number John Williams’ Oscar winning Star Wars scores – the result is ridiculously impressive.
The playlist, appropriately entitled Life After Death Star, consists of 17 cleverly mashed tracks that draw these two worlds seamlessly together. With the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens only weeks away, there is no better time to have a listen.
