Suspicion arose after crowd favourite and 2015 4-time VMA winner, Taylor Swift, was absent from the 2016 VMA’s in New York this week.
No need to stress though, the singer isn’t following her Thor budding boyfriend Tom Hiddleston around the Goldie, she was actually attending to the oh so fun jury duty. So whilst Beyonce, Rihanna, Drake, Britney Spears and other celebs were walking the white carpet and posing for glam pics, our gal Tay was posing for photo’s with fellow jurors in Nashville.
Whilst they waited to see if they would be selected for trial, regular jurors-turned Swifties began tweeting and posting photos with their new idol. But sadly for them, Taylor was excused from the case due to a conflict of interest that made her impartial with her ongoing sexual assault charges against a groping fan.
It’s nice to know even celebrities have to attend to civil duties, well we assume anyways because why would you miss the VMA’s unless you really had to?!
