Between 2009 and 2011, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift were buddies until things turned sour. Swift dated John Mayer back in 2012 and later that year Perry and Mayer were an item.
In a Rolling Stone interview last year, Swift revealed that Bad Blood is about the conflict between a well-known music artist she is straight-up enemies with. Although not confirmed, we all assume she’s talking about Katy. She even said, “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”
Katy’s 89 million Twitter followers makes her the platform’s most followed user. However her latest Twitter behaviour left fans very confused, particularly due to her shoutout to Taylor Swift.

Turns out, her account had been hacked and the hackers thought it would be funny to write something to Taylor. They also tweeted “haha follow @sw4ylol #hackersgonnahack”. Bloody hackers, got nothing better to do but it did supply us with a bit of entertainment.
