Kanye West and Tekashi69 Forced To Evacuate Video Shoot After Gunshots Fired

Kanye West and Tekashi69 have been forced to flee the set of a music video after shots were fired outside.

A watch commander for the Beverly Hills Police Department told PEOPLE that authorities received a call of “shots fired” at approximately 10.25pm.

Police arrived at the scene and confirmed that shots had been fired “at a building in the 900 block of North Alpine Drive.” There were no reported injuries and investigation into the incident is ongoing.

“Kanye was never in danger,” a source told the publication. “The shooting happened outside of the house. It was still a frightening situation and Kanye left shortly after.”

“They decided to cancel the video shoot to make sure everyone was safe. Right after the shots were fired, Tekashi’s bodyguards acted frantic. They believed he was the target. Tekashi left the property within minutes of the shooting.”

The music video also starred Nicki Minaj, however she was not on set at the time. I guess you could say she dodged a bullet.

50 Cent shared a photo on Instagram of a window that appeared to have been struck by a bullet, seemingly referring to the shooting.

“Now somebody done shot my son video up in LA. Kanye was like,” he wrote.

The photo has since been deleted.
