Months after first impressing audiences at CinemaCon, the first trailer for Steve McQueen‘s grimly compelling Widows has been unleashed on the masses.
The film, lead by Oscar-winner Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Erivo, and Elizabeth Debicki, follows the aftermath of a heist gone totally wrong. Left with enormous debts after their partners’ deaths, the crew bands together to polish off one final job.
Liam Neeson, Colin Farrell, Daniel Kaluuya, and Brian Tyree Henry fill out the cast. If that’s somehow not enough star power for you, cop this: the film was co-written by Gone Girl mastermind Gillian Flynn.
