Cannes Film Festival is a time of year that brings together the world’s most talented people to celebrate red carpet fashion, art, and (obviously) films. Once everyone is done admiring each other’s beautiful outfits, talk turns to the films on show. Plot: A wounded soldier is cared for by an all-girls boarding school in the rural South, and his presence stirs up tension amongst the ladies.
Okja

Plot: Mija doesn’t know that her best friend, a super pig named Okja, is actually a genetically engineered animal that has been created to be a more sustainable food source.
Wonderstruck

Plot: In parallel tales, a girl from 1927 and a boy from 1977 both escape their surroundings to head to New York in search of answers and adventure.
Good Time
Cast: Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Barkhad Abdi
Plot: After a heist gone wrong, a bank robber attempts to escape the authorities and rescue his brother from jail.
The Killing of a Sacred Deer
Cast: Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman, Alicia Silverstone
Plot: A successful heart surgeon invites a teenage boy into his family, but must face dire consequences when the teen turns sinister.
