For those who had their hearts set on attending this years iconic festival, don’t admit defeat just yet. As per previous years, Splendour will launch an online resale site on Monday the 14th of May via Moshtix. Ticket holders who can no longer attend will have the chance to sell their tickets to those who missed out! sign up to the resale waitlist here.
Splendour organisers have warned the hopefuls who are seeking resale tickets not to purchase tickets through “Facebook, Gumtree or unauthorised ticket resellers”.
“Splendour tickets include the name and date of birth of the ticket-holder. This is checked against your ID at the festival gates. There is NO facility in place that allows a ticket holder to change the name and date of birth on a ticket and transfer it to another person,” they said today.
SITG 2018 will be headlined by Lorde, Vampire Weekend and Kendrick Lamar, with stacks of other local and international acts on offer including Khalid, The Wombats, CHVRCHES, Miguel, Franz Ferdinand, MGMT, Hilltop Hoods, Angus & Julia Stone, Gang Of Youths and Dune Rats.
