OMG It’s finally here! The trailer for Pitch Perfect 3 is out for the world to see.
First of all, let’s begin with the stars themselves! The musical comedy includes our favourite Rebel Wilson as fat Amy, Anna Kendrick as Beca and the rest of the Bellas in action for another great performance.
It seems like this will be the last film for the trilogy, with the Bellas reuniting after their college graduation. When the struggle of finding work in the music industry becomes too much, Beca finds a way to bring the gorgeous Bellas back in pitch perfect condition to perform for the last time together.
It seems like the Bellas will have the final sing off against Calamity (played by Ruby Rose) and her crew.
Elizabeth Banks, who directed Pitch Perfect 2, was unfortunately unable to direct the third movie due to parental responsibilities. However, her hilarious commentator character still makes an appearance.
Trish Sie has taken the lead as the official director for Pitch Perfect 3. Sie is most definitely not a stranger to the performing arts and musical world. She has directed Step Up: All In from the Step Up franchise, as well as a few music videos.
The first Pitch Perfect made a huge amount of $115 million worldwide. The second film made $287.5 million in the box office. According to IMDb, Pitch Perfect 3 is estimated for a box office of $65 million.
Universal Studios will release the film on the 22nd of December 2017.
