2017 has already been a bit of a mixed bag, but this aca-mazing news has saved our faith in humanity – Pitch Perfect 3 is a go! Fans of the movies (which, let’s be honest, refers to everyone) will remember that hilarious person Anna Kendrick posted this confirmation of the movie.
Of course, we were excited, but we couldn’t be sure that it was really happening. Now, we’re sure. Instagrams from all our favourite Bellas are flooding in as proof that God is real and 2017 won’t be terrible.
As you can see, all the OG cast members are back, including Anna Kendrick (obvs, it couldn’t happen without her), Brittany Snow, Rebel Wilson, Ester Dean, Hana Mae Lee and the classic Anna Camp.
They apparently wanted to go roller skating, which just proves that they’re real friends.
Hailee Steinfeld (AKA the girl who ruined Pitch Perfect 2) will also return to reprise her (annoying) role.
Joining the cast is Aussie actress Ruby Rose, who is hot property in Hollywood at the moment. She will play a special role that is being kept under wraps. Also jumping on board will be Andy Allo, who was Prince’s protégée, and will obviously bring a lot of musical talent to the role. They’ll be joining all this fun!
Unfortunately fan favourites Skylar Astin (who played Treblemaker Jesse) and Ben Platt (who played awkward magician Benji) won’t be appearing in Pitch Perfect 3.
Yes. As of now, the Trebles and I won’t be in the third Pitch Perfect movie. They seem to be taking the story in a different direction 👋🏼 pic.twitter.com/MsFbDUOonv

It looks like Rebel will have some great moves in the film, with this teaser of her stunt training. It’s either going very badly or very well (depending on what she’s meant to be doing).
The film is expected to hit cinemas on December 22, 2017 which is just too damn far away.
