It’s been quite a while since we’ve heard anything from English rock band Muse, but finally there is some news on what they are up to.

On a post on Instagram, the band’s lead vocalist Matt Bellamy has teased a new music from the band, releasing a short clip of him working on a new song in the studio.

It might only be a short clip, but it sounds really awesome and it’s got us pumped up for new tunes.

While there is no word on when the song will be released, it will be the first new music from Muse since they released their last album, Drones in 2015.

They also revealed to fans that they have already recorded three new songs, describing one as “heavy”.

Fan were also told that they had worked on some bits for an upcoming tour with American rock band 30 Seconds To Mars (fronted by the beautiful Jared Leto).

If you’re eager to attend the tour, it begins on May 20th in West Palm Beach, Florida and ends on September 24th in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.

We don’t know yet if Muse will be returning to Australia, but we can hope.
