Get ready TV fans, because NITV is gracing us with our new favourite show of 2017. It’s called Family Rules and it follows the Rule family from Perth. If you love the Kardashians and reality TV, this is the show for you.
The new reality show will take a look into the lives of a modern Aboriginal household. The stars are 9 sisters who love makeup and fashion, as well as their single mum, Daniella, who rules the roost.
We’ll learn how she managed to cope with 9 kids after her husband, the girls’ father, was brutally killed in an attack in 2004. If that wasn’t enough heartbreak, Daniella’s youngest was just a few weeks old!
The opening episode is going to show the drama of getting ready for a formal, their love of makeup, shoes and fashion in general. But most importantly, it’s going to break barriers for the Aboriginal community.
The girls, dubbed as the “Aboriginal Kardashians”, want to use this unique experience to smash stereotypes that surround women in their community.
