Adele has been sweeping stadiums across the nation lately. If you’ve been lucky enough to go see her, you’ve probably been a bit curious as to how she gets on stage without being seen. Her secret was revealed at her last Sydney show, as it was discovered that she gets to the stage through the crowd.

This is due to her tours being in stadiums. With stadiums, there’s nowhere to pop up unexpectedly from and there’s no surprise to fans. So, naturally, the only way to get through is to be very sneaky. The clever pop star decided to surprise her fans by using a box to get through the crowd before popping out to sing.
This was all fine, until the media found out. Adele confided in the 70,000 strong crowd at Adelaide’s concert:
“I’ve done so many shows in that box, and it has been a nightmare. This time when I came out, you all knew I was in it. I was scared, I was. I’m not lying; I was frightened.”
Poor thing. It would be terrifying to be completely in the hands of the public, and despite the amount of security around the box, things could easily go very wrong quickly. Luckily, so far, people just seem to be excited that she’s in the box instead of trying to get to her. With a bit of luck, it will stay that way.
No word as of yet as to whether or not she’ll continue with the box now that it’s been found out.
“So now, I’ll just walk out and ruin the surprise and be like ‘Oh hello, hello!’” the star teased.
Maybe Adele has another surprise up her sleeve for the rest of her Aussie tour. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens at the Melbourne shows!
