Luckily there was no sour ending to Yolanda’s TV career, as she departs from the hit show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
A few weeks earlier rumours had spread around of her departure but she has now confirmed it. She has posted on her Instagram saying she is not returning for Season 6. She noted she wants to ‘bring back the privacy within our home.’ Good on you Yolanda, but let’s not forget when you’re children are two of the world’s biggest supermodels getting that privacy might be easier said than done.
Production sources told TMZ that she was offered a new role as a ‘friend’ in the show but declined because she felt it was a step down from her previous role.
In the last season, the remaining housewives had questioned whether she really had Lyme disease or whether she had Munchausen’s syndrome, which is where a person fakes symptoms to draw attention to themselves. This was reported in her new memoir ‘Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease’.

Season 7 was set to be about Yolanda as a newly divorced woman finding love again. However, the season will now entertain us with the scandalous and glamorous lives of housewives including Kyle Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, and Erika Jayne.
