The past year was an exciting year in many ways, one of them being the amount of celebrity babies that have been born. Many celebrities are going to be celebrating their first ever Mother’s Day this year, which is a cause for celebration!
Models Bar Refaeli and Irina Shayk both welcomed daughters and actresses like Ellie Kemper and Jena Malone gave birth to little baby boys. Not all of the new parents have revealed their children’s names or shared cute pics of their tiny tots, but they’re sure to be sharing the love this Sunday.

1Irina Shayk
Model Irina Shayk and actor Bradley Cooper welcomed a baby girl called Lea de Seine Shayk Cooper in April. The couple began dating in 2015 and was inseparable ever since then. For both it’s their first child and with flawless genes like this, we can only assume it’s an absolutely beautiful little girl!
2Cheryl Cole
The former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl and her boyfriend Liam Payne became parents in March for the first time. Liam said on Instagram that their baby son Bear is “already capturing hearts” when he shared the first photo of the newborn. With a name like Bear Payne, you’d hope he’s a charmer!
3Bar Rafaeli
In August last year model Bar Rafaeli gave birth to a little baby girl named Liv Ezra. But one child wasn’t enough, because Bar and her husband Adi Ezra are currently expecting their second child! The Sports Illustrated model announced her second pregnancy by posting a picture of her slowly growing baby bump on Instagram with the caption “Something’s cooking”.
4Candice Swanepoel
The Victoria’s Secret angel Candace Swanepoel and her fiancé Hermann Nicoli welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Anacã, in October 2016. “Anacã” is Portuguese and means “red parrot”.
5Ellie Kemper
Actress Ellie Kemper and husband Michael Koman became parents in August 2016, when their first child was born. The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star was so in love with her son that she totally forgot to announce the little boy’s name to the public. After a couple of months she cleared up about the misunderstanding, and finally revealed her son’s name: James Miller Koman.
6Amber Tamblyn
In February American actress Amber Tamblyn and husband actor David Cross welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Marlow. We hope that the newborn will have her parents’ great sense of humour! When announcing their daughter’s name, the couple fooled everyone with an Instagram post captioning “David and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Dauphinoise Petunia Brittany Scheherazade Von Funkinstein Mustard Witch RBG Cross Tamblyn-Bey jr. #TheFutureIsFemale”. Well, lucky that was only a joke, little Marlow!

In June 2016 actress Erika Christensen and her husband Cole Maness became parents to this gorgeous little baby girl named Shane. Happy first Mother’s Day, Erika!
8Camilla Luddington
Grey’s Anatomy star Camilla Luddington and her boyfriend Matt Alan became parents in April and celebrated their daughter Hayden’s birth with a super cute clip on Instagram, showing the new family. “We have a new great love in our lives… our sweet baby girl… Hayden,” the actress captioned the post.
9Jurnee Smollett-Bell
Jurnee welcomed her first child with husband Josiah Bell in November last year. She announced the exciting news on Instagram and revealed her son’s name: “Hunter Zion Bell. So in love with our little man ❤️❤️❤️”.

Lily gave birth to her first child, a baby girl, in March. The American Horror Story actress and her partner Hamish Linklater have yet to reveal the tiny tot’s name! Maybe on Lily’s first Mother’s Day?

In late May 2016 the Hunger Games star and now fiancé Ethan DeLorenzo welcomed their first child, a baby boy called Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone. And the couple is extremely grateful: “The best weekend of our lives!!! What an incredible blessing to be chosen by this amazing, kind, gentle and beautiful soul to be his parents. Humbled and in complete awe that we get to experience the most ancient and transcendent love that exists. Thank you Ode Mountain DeLorenzo Malone,” Jena wrote on Instagram. Supernatural actress and Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Felicia Day confirmed the arrival of her daughter on Twitter in January and had only announced her pregnancy three weeks before giving birth, tweeting: “She’s coming in about three weeks so I guess I should announce this and stuff”. The 37-year-old gave her little girl a quite unusual name, calling her Calliope Maeve. Calliope was the muse of epic poetry and Maeve a fairy warrior queen. Felicia hasn’t revealed yet with whom she welcomed her little baby girl.

In September 2016 the former Fresh Prince of Bel-Air actress gave birth to her first child with husband Dr. Vaughn Rasberry. The couple announced their son’s name only three days after his birth, naming him Edward Aszard Rasberry.
