Inspiring media personality Sally Obermeder has revealed she is expecting a second child with husband Marcus. Three years ago, Obermeder was diagnosed with breast cancer, just two days after daughter Annabelle was born.
Sally explained, “I’m extremely lucky to have one child … But the yearning and desire to be a mum again is so strong and it has not passed (New Idea, 2016). She wants a sibling for five year old Annabelle and always pictured having three or four children.
Whilst she wanted to conceive naturally, doctors told her it was “far too dangerous for her to be pregnant again, in terms of the cancer returning” (New Idea, 2016). Obermeder has frozen embryos ready.
