We often have our best ideas, deep, deep in the darkness of the night, and this seems true of Kim Kardashian as well. Kim K has decided to donate 1,000 pairs of shoes to the charity Soles 4 Souls in the middle of the night after feeling emotional over a television show.
Kim, who recently gave birth to son Saint West, went to Twitter to find the Hurricane Katrina survivor behind a campaign to collect a 1,000 pairs of shoes by Christmas as thank you to the charity.
‘I’m up breastfeeding & watching this show Dish Nation,’ Kim tweeted to her 37.6M followers on Wednesday night.
‘I heard the cutest story of a girl who is trying to find 1000 pairs of shoes to donate to this charity Soles For Souls! They helped her during Hurricane Katrina. I think I know the designer of Shoe of the Year Award!’
Then, in a show of support, Kim suddenly decided: ‘Kanye and I would love to donate those 1000 shoes to Soles For Souls.’
