Britney Spears was on the air with KIIS radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O to promote the release of her new single Make Me. The controversial ‘Would You Rather’ game was played and although Brit’s answers started off nice, things turned sour when she was asked to choose between two of the world’s biggest pop princesses.
“Who would you rather sit next to on a 24-hour flight to Sydney, Taylor Swift or Katy Perry?”
“I don’t know! I don’t know, that’s hard. They’re both so cool, I don’t know,” said Spears.
“I’ve briefly met Katy Perry at the Smurfs movie premiere. Maybe because I’ve met Katy Perry I would say Taylor Swift, because I’ve never met her before.”
It seems like a fair enough answer right? Wrong. We totally would have accepted this response and gone on perfectly with our lives if Britney had in fact never met Taylor. However let’s flashback to the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards where Swift and Spears were snapped together.
Sorry Tay Tay but Brit doesn’t seem to have remembered meeting you, but on the bright side she’d rather sit next to you than your arch nemesis Katy Perry.
Throughout the interview Spears also revealed that she’d rather swap lives with Mariah Carey over Elton John. Kinda ironic seeing as Brit just pulled the best ‘I don’t know her’ Mariah moment of 2016.
