Sylvia Choi – a 25 year old Pharmacist from Sydney died from reported drug related complications at Stereosonic Sydney on the weekend.
It is reported that Ms Choi took a concoction of MDMA and ecstasy tablets crushed up into a water bottle. Ms Choi is said to have collapsed shortly after taking the concoction.
The latest death has renewed calls for the way police and the government tackle the drug problem at festivals. Sweeping arrests seem not to be working and people keep dying. Some experts have called for drug testing stations at festivals.
