Ariana Grande has spoken out regarding the untimely death of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller. The 26-year-old rapper apparently died from a suspected overdose in his home on September 7.
Many celebrities have mourned his death, turning to Twitter and Instagram to share tributes. Grande’s brother, Frankie Grande, was one of them. Ariana posted a picture of Miller on her Instagram when the news broke. There was no caption accompanying the photo.
However, this weekend, she wrote a sweet message about him on her Instagram alongside a video of the couple joking around.
She wrote: “I’m so sorry I couldn’t fix or take your pain away. I really wanted to.”
It has become known that Ariana struggled in the end of their relationship, and she tweeted: “I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be. I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety & prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming / blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his s*** together is a very major problem”.
Ariana and Mac dated for nearly two years until May 2018. She was a huge supporter of his sobriety.
We wish her peace during this difficult time.
