My idol and hilarious woman Anna Kendrick is gifting the world with her relatable humour (and probably some other things) in her new book. The book is called “Scrappy Little Nobody” and it’s bound to be a bestseller.
The book is a collection of autobiographical essays encompassing everything from her middle class childhood to the big Hollywood movies that catapulted her to stardom. It will surely be a privileged insight into one of Hollywood’s most beloved actresses and, according to Amazon, it’s packed with her signature wit.

Unfortunately the book won’t be out until the 15th of November, but it is available to pre order here. Until then, Kendrick’s introduction to her book will give you a taste of what her book will be like. “I’m excited to publish my first book, and because I get uncomfortable when people have high expectations, I’d like to use this opportunity to showcase my ineptitude, pettiness, and the frequency with which I embarrass myself. And while many of my female inspirations who have become authors are incredibly well-educated and accomplished comedy writers, I’m very, very funny on Twitter, according to Buzzfeed and my mom, so I feel like this is a great idea. “Quick question: are run-on sentences still frowned upon? Wait, is ending a sentence with a preposition still frowned upon? I mean, upon frowned? Dammit!” If you’ve ever been left wanting more after reading Kendrick’s hysterical tweets then this book is for you.
Hi, I’m Anna, I’m alone tonight and I’m looking for a strapping muscular man to come over because butternut squash is hard to dice. ??? — Anna Kendrick (@AnnaKendrick47) March 28, 2016
In movies, when the super villain tells his origin story I honestly get worried because I relate so hard.
