Brigitte Nielsen has given birth to a baby girl at 54.
The actress and her husband Mattia Dessi, 39, released a statement to People magazine over the weekend saying their daughter Frida was born on Friday in Los Angeles and weighed 2.3 kilograms.
The couple told the magazine “We are overjoyed to welcome our beautiful daughter into our lives,”
“It’s been a long road, and so worth it. We’ve never been more in love.”
The Cobra star is already mom to her four sons: Raoul Meyer Jr., 23, Douglas Meyer, 25, Killian Gastineau, 28, and Julian Winding, 34.
Brigitte announced her late-in-life pregnancy last month on Instagram.
The Danish-Italian model posted photos, captioned “family getting larger” as well as the hashtag #babybump.
The star opened up to Hello! Magazine back in 2008 about her desire for more kids.
“The children have kept me going. After I do Playboy, we want to try IVF. It’s asking a lot, but if it’s possible, it would make our package complete.” she said.
Congratulations to the happy family.
