Emojis have literally saved precious seconds of our lives. In case we weren’t lazy enough, they allow us to not have to write out full words. Oh what a time it is to be alive!

To monitor the way Australians use emojis, The Works have launched a real-time tracker. They’ve managed to compile the top 10 emojis used in our state and territories.
To absolutely no surprise, the face with tears of joy is the most used emoji across the country. Aussies must also enjoy sharing the love because the standard red heart ❤️came in second place.
The crying face, thumbs up and love heart eyes face are used pretty consistently down under. Although we’re a little concerned as to why Tasmanians top #9 is the American flag, do they celebrate the 4th of July all the way down there?
