SBS’s The Feed has recreated the classic “Where the bloody hell are you?” advertisement that infamously starred Lara Bingle almost a decade ago. The iconic Tourism Australia ad was banned from airing in various countries due to it’s misunderstood use of ‘bloody’ and ‘hell’.
Well one country that definitely didn’t take offence to the ad (because we say ‘bloody’ and ‘hell’ multiple times a day) is Australia. Therefore, it’s totally appropriate for SBS to launch their spin on it for an upcoming forum special on Sydney’s Lockout Laws. Who better to say Bingle’s famous line than the one and only Lee Lee Chin.
And a big thank you to SBS and Lee Lee Chin for discussing what we are all thinking. Tune in 7.30pm Tuesday night to look at both sides of the lockout law debate. (Although not sure why anyone would be #teammike on this one, no offence.)
Where the bloody hell are you? We're locking 50 people in a pub for the ultimate debate on Australia’s lockout laws. Don’t miss The Feed Forum: Lockout Laws, Tuesday 7.30pm, SBS 2.
