15,000 people clicked attending to yesterdays ‘Keep Sydney Open’ rally and reports say that those 15,000 marched in protest against the Sydney lockout laws.

The march, which started in Belmore Park, travelled through the CBD closing roads like Elizabeth street. The loud but peaceful rally then gathered in Hyde park with speeches from industry figures including TV producer and DJ Tyson Koh and Dave Faulkner from the Hoodoo Gurus. Live performances came from the likes of Sydney band Art v Science, Royal Headache and The Preatures.

The overall message from the thousands was “we have had enough.”

Addressing the crowd Tyson Koh also criticised the wide bearing affects the lockouts have had, “The lockout laws have seen Sydney’s night life leached away while the violence and aggressive atmosphere has just spread to other areas.”

There were signs a plenty in the crowd. Here are our favourites.
