With Australia Day just around the corner, a very Australian act unfolded around 1am on Saturday morning. Gold Coast mates James Ross-Munroe and Kane Wiblen were dropping into a service station to get some two-minute noodles after a night out at Options Tavern. Kane was filming James after he tried to jump a sign a busted his thongs. “Oh I busted me plugger, twice… she’s f***ed.”
Next, a white Commodore with no number plates stopped outside the Oporto shop and the boys quickly realised they were breaking in.
“There wasn’t much time to think, the first thing I did was rip my singlet off; it’s Aussie to be shirtless in a fight and I didn’t want my shirt to get dirty.”
“I grabbed the keys out of the ignition and a few minutes later two guys with shirts over their faces came out.”
“He tried to keep his face covered, then ran off, I chased, but not for long, I’m too fat for cardio.”
The video was uploaded onto Kane’s Facebook page and has since over 2 million views.
