Yep, that right there is bad gal RiRi with our former Prime Minister, Julia Gillard.
Now there’s a few things running through our head after seeing this pic.
Julia owes Rihanna money of which she has come to collect.
C’mon Julia, don’t act like you forgot.
RiRi might be teaching her how to work work work.
Then of course there’s the possibility that Rihanna and J-Gilly are about the drop the political diss track of the year.
Anyway, we probably let our imagination run a little too wild there. As it turns out, Rihanna is now a global ambassador for the Global Partnership for Education (GPE) of which Gillard is a chairwoman for. The pair were snapped at The Global Citizen Festival in New York where Rihanna headlined. Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation will back the initiative to support 65 developing countries, “to ensure that every child receives a quality basic education, prioritising the poorest, most vulnerable and those living in fragile and conflicted-affected countries”.
thank you @JuliaGillard! Proud to stand for education with you! @GPforEducation @GlblCtzn @ClaraLionelFdn, let's get to work!

The festival also featured performances from Metallica, Kendrick Lamar, Demi Lovato and Chris Martin. Political leaders delivered inspiring speeches as well as actors including Salma Hayek and Hugh Jackman and his wife, Deborah Lee-Furness.
So great to see celebrities and politicians join together for an important cause. Before Rihanna took the stage, Gillard said, “Education is the best investment we can make for a prosperous, peaceful, equitable and future-ready world” and she’s definitely not wrong there.
