Apparently love doesn’t make the world go round, contrary to what JLo’s recent single had us believing.
47-year-old Jennifer Lopez and her long-time 29-year-old dancer boyfriend, Casper Smart have reportedly split after five years together.
According to a source, it happened weeks ago, but the once dynamic duo aren’t ready to talk about it just yet. Luckily, it wasn’t a bad break up and they’re still on good terms.
“It wasn’t anything dramatic – it just came to a natural end. They will remain friends and they see each other, but they are not together. It was very amiable,” the source revealed.
It’s no secret that the pair were in an on and off-again relationship since they got together in 2011, but they’ve both done a pretty good job at keeping their personal lives out of the limelight.
“We don’t really go out very much,” Casper said in 2014. “We both don’t drink, we don’t do any drugs, smoking, pills or any of the craziness. We don’t get wrapped up in the Hollywood life that can chew you up and spit you out. I’ve seen it happen a million times.”
Not to worry though! Since the break up, the two have been spotted together on multiple occasions. Smart was even seen at Jen’s hit Caesar’s Palace Show on 13 August, together with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony and his girlfriend Shannon de Lima.
Unfortunately, it looks like the ‘off’ bit is sticking this time. We just hope they’re able to keep this friends thing up.
