In news that’ll make us feel old: Blue Ivy will be turning five in just three months! And with her birthday steadily approaching, famous parents Beyonce and Jay Z are apparently making plans to adopt a second child.
“They always planned on having more than one child, and they don’t want a huge age gap between Blue Ivy and the baby,” an insider told OK! Magazine. “Beyonce loved being pregnant, but it hasn’t happened again, and they know the clock is ticking.”
According to the magazine, Queen Bey and Jay Z have already started working with a private adoption agency just in case they aren’t able to conceive naturally. The source said the two have been trying for some time, but so far a natural conception just hasn’t been on the cards.
Hopefully this means the power couple’s relationship is back on track after one hell of a rocky year. In April, the Crazy in Love singer released the album Lemonade, which focused on a man cheating on his wife. There had been reports of an affair beforehand, so obviously, we immediately jumped to the conclusion that the songs were inspired by real life events.
Some of us even thought Beyonce would soon be a single lady, but luckily things have started to pick up. Bey even closed her Formation tour by inviting her hubby onstage for a surprise performance.
Either way, the pair seem like great parents to little Blue. Their future bubba will definitely be one very lucky kid!
