The revival of ‘Gilmore Girls’ is pretty much a dream come true. Heck, any revival of a fave TV show is a momentous event, but it’s even better when the whole. damn. cast. returns.

The announcement came from Netflix (so we ain’t pulling your leg here) and the revival will come in the form of a four-piece miniseries, keeping with the Netflix method of providing nostalgia but not overworking the material.
The mastermind behind the show, Amy Sherman-Palladino is also back with husband/writer Daniel Palladino to work out what’s been confirmed as Gilmore Girl’s “real” final season. Yaaassss.
However, we do hate to tell you that one key star who will be absent is Melissa McCarthy. Last year, McCarthy said “I’m not doing anything with it, but I keep hearing about it, I have not heard anything official about it.”
But hey, you never know…
