In honour of Red Nose Day in the US, Ed Sheeran challenged the public to raise more money for charity than he did last year. He said that if they did, he would don a red tutu and eat the grossest thing he could find in Japan.
James Corden announced the challenge on his Twitter last week:

Turns out his American fans were totally on board with 12 million noses sold and $US32 million raised. Sticking to his promise he dressed up in a red tutu and ate the grossest thing – a live sea snail covered in fermented beans. Just looking at it makes us want to vom, so it’s no wonder Sheeran actually did spew.
