At UFC 194 on Saturday, spectators witnessed a 13 second knockout from Conor McGregor who defeated Jose Aldo. The Irishman claimed the featherweight belt in the fastest finish in UFC title history.

McGregor with the Ireland flag wrapped around him yelled into the microphone “Ireland, Baby, WE DID IT!” He later said in an interview “I feel for Jose, he was a phenomenal champion. We deserved to go a bit longer, but I still feel at the end of the day precision beats power and timing beats speed every day of the week so it would’ve happened sooner rather than later.”

This was Aldo’s first loss in more than 10 years and he is already keen for a rematch with McGregor. In his post-fight interview he stated, “I think we need a rematch because that was not really a fight.” A heartbreaking photo shows him sitting on the floor with his head in his hands surrounded by his team.
