Bruno Mars sat down for an interview with WTKU’s Cubby and Corolina in the Morning on Tuesday and dished all the juicy deets about his recent collaboration with Adele.
According to him, when they were recording their track, All I Ask, Adele was a tad bit dramatic.
“She walks into the studio, she’s got all this attitude, she’s a diva,” he said. “She’s like, ‘I don’t want to do this. I don’t like that.’ And then as soon as we hit a couple chords that she liked, we started rolling, and that’s where we got that song from.”
To be fair, Bruno, you don’t get to Adele’s level of success without expressing some opinions.
And It seems the R&B singer felt a bit guilty afterwards because he went on to clarify that Adele was “incredible” and that he was very happy with their song.
“She was singing in the booth and I’m not exaggerating at all, and the water was vibrating – like that scene in Jurassic Park,” he said. “She’s got some pipes on her, and she’s just a superstar.”
And while Bruno admitted he was keen to work with her again, he might have to wait a while. The Hello singer previously announced she’ll be taking a break from her career to spend time with her family.
