Billionaire and owner of Melbourne’s Crown Casino, James Packer was denied entry into his own establishment by a security guard. Dr. Iskandar Chaban was warned via his radio that a “most important” VIP was approaching him but did not recognise Mr Packer who was also with a senior executive of the casino.
The Herald Sun reported they yelled abuse and even pushed the guard before demanding he be sacked on the spot. The guard who claims he was just doing his job was taken to hospital after the incident due to pain and shock. A spokeswoman told AAP in a statement “It’s understood that a verbal altercation ensued and Mr Packer continued into the facility.” The Casino also denies that the man was fired but confirmed he was suspended.
Dr. Chaban is now seeking legal advice after claiming how both men treated him was inhuman.
