In the spirit of Christmas, 250 McDonald’s customers in Florida paid for the meals behind them in a ‘pay it forward’ chain. The woman who started this chain reaction told the cashier she wished to pay for the meal in the people in the car behind her and wish them “Merry Christmas”. The next customer repeated the gesture and so it continued from 9am to 3pm.
The cashier, Marisabel Figuero told ABC News “It kept going and going. After the 15th car I started tally marking the number of people that were participating on a piece of paper.”
“One lady even paid for the meals of the next three cars behind her.”
The lady that started this heartless gesture named Torie Keene came forward and said she had no idea it would go on like it had and she was “only trying the brighten someone’s day.” Well Torie, looks like that ‘someone’ turned into 250 someones.
