You might know them by another name, but I use the term ‘simple pleasures’ to refer to the little things in day-to-day life that give you an unreasonable level of enjoyment and satisfaction, despite their outward simplicity. These incidences can be seen to offer an irrational degree of gratification and delight despite their commonplace occurrences and nonchalant nature.
They say that small things please small minds – but if you don’t get enjoyment out of these minute triumphs then you are a hard nut to crack.
