You mean they don’t really use hair vitamins?

According to a watchdog group, the Kardashian-Jenners could be in a lot of legal trouble for neglecting to label a number of their sponsored Instagram posts.

Truth in Advertising today filed a complaint with the US Federal Trade Commission after the family didn’t properly comply with a letter sent to them last week asking them to clean up their Instagram accounts.

The FTC has strict guidelines about how we share ads on Instagram and it’s very important to disclose when something is being advertised for money. But it seems the six sisters haven’t paid much attention to these rules!

“We found that members of the Kardashian/Jenner family are engaged in deceptive marketing campaigns for various companies by routinely creating and publishing sponsored social media posts for such companies without clearly and conspicuously disclosing that they are paid representatives or that the posts are advertisements,” the letter from Truth in Advertising said.

The letter also claimed that this was the case for over 100 of girls’ Instagram posts. The family was asked to correct them by adding hashtags that show they’re being paid for, and so far they’ve sort of listened.

They’ve deleted a few posts that were in violation of the disclosure laws, and they even added a few #ad hashtags to some of them. But obviously, it wasn’t enough.

Lawyers for the Kardashians/Jenners have said they plan to “work swiftly and diligently with our brand partners and TINA” to “clear up old posts.”

We don’t want this to get in the way of our celebrity Insta stalking, so let’s hope this mess is sorted soon!
