In a Liverpool home invasion this morning, one brother has been shot and another slashed with a machete. Police said that two men, one armed with a handgun and the other with a machete entered the home on Hillier road around 1am this morning.
Before taking personal items off the brothers and fleeing in a silver-coloured sedan, the intruders shot the older victim in the forearm with the younger one suffering cuts to his hands.
The brothers both in their thirties were treated by paramedics and transported to Liverpool Hospital.
